Hi, I’m Misty Gaither
A seasoned corporate business strategist & transformation expert. Most recently, she was the Vice President and Global Head of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belong (DEIB+) at Indeed. In this role, she evaluated and enhanced policies and processes while designing equitable solutions and experiences for employees, job seekers, and clients to help all people get jobs. She has a unique, non-linear career path with experiences in Business Development, Strategic Partnerships, Start Ups and Nonprofit working for Altria Group, JPMorgan Chase, Code2040 and Twilio making her a force in today’s business landscape bridging a critical gap in strategy & execution, bringing a pragmatism (data) and passion (lived experience) as she develops solutions.
Misty believes that DEIB+ extends beyond any singular program or partnership and is vital for a profitable company with a rich people culture. Prior to Indeed, she held business development and sales roles at Altria Group and JPMorgan Chase. She pivoted into DEI by way of Business Development at Code2040, a non-profit start-up focused on racial equity and inclusion in technology. She later made the move “in-house” as the first D&I business partner at Twilio. Misty regularly gives inspiring talks about DEIB strategies around the world and has been featured in publications such as the UK Telegraph, WSJ, Fast Company, Axios and many more.
